Rooms and rides
Decide who sleeps where before anyone is standing in a driveway
Beds, cars, and — if the day needs it — tables. Sorted in advance, visible to everyone, and changed in one place when somebody drops out.
app.eventrie.comFree to start · no card · guests never need an account
Instead of working it out at midnight in a driveway with everyone’s bags still in the boot.
What it does
Rooms and rides in Eventrie
Groups holds whatever the day is made of
Beds in a house, seats in cars, tables at a dinner. One tool, because they are the same problem: a set of people, a set of places, and someone who has to decide.
When it is only tables, it is called Seating
The module names itself by what is actually in it. A graduation dinner with three groups who have never met gets Seating; a weekend with a house and two cars gets Groups.
It is optional, and stays optional
A dinner for twelve does not need a seating chart, and Eventrie will not create one to look thorough. Event type sets the default; you decide, and turning it off keeps the data rather than deleting it.
Everyone can see where they are
People stop asking you which car they are in, because the answer is on the link they already have.
A drop-out is one change, not a re-plan
Someone cancels four days out. Move them out and the bed is free — the plan updates for everyone at once instead of in seven separate replies.
Questions people actually ask
About rooms and rides
How do I sort out who sleeps where on a group trip?
Add the beds you have and drag people into them before you travel. Everyone can see the result on the link they already have, so nobody is negotiating it on arrival with their bags in the car.
Can I use it for cars as well as rooms?
Yes — beds, cars and tables are the same tool, because they are the same problem: a set of people and a set of places. A weekend usually needs the first two; a dinner usually needs the third.
Do I have to make a seating chart?
No. It is optional and stays optional. Most dinners do not need one, and Eventrie will not create one just to look thorough. Turn it off and nothing you already entered is deleted.
